“If something seems too good to be true” then more than likely it is.
That is what I thought when I started looking into a company called YourNetBiz formally called “My Internet Business”.
I happen to be a very analytical type of person, which drives my wife absolutely nuts. I will study everything I can about things before I buy them, preferring to read through the boring technical manuals before ever being swayed by fancy sales copy and glossy photos. I mean that is just the way I am…
After running a string of successful internet businesses in the past, I was really looking for something else that I could do online without the problems of selling physical products, maintaining inventory and managing employees.
I was introduced to YourNetBiz by one of my previous competitors, who had also done well for himself on the internet and likewise was trying to simplify the whole process of making money online.
I must admit that I was duly impressed by what I saw with YourNetBiz but throughout was plagued by a nagging feeling that something must be inherently wrong with this picture. So I set out to find the “Achilles Heel”, but before I reveal what I discovered, let me share with you what I liked about this business.
Firstly I loved that fact that in the YourNetBiz Back-Office there were thousands upon thousands of brilliant informational products. These were on every subject you could imagine, from dog training to financial advice. So with the YourNetBiz membership, not only did you have your own personal reference library, but these products could be resold with 100% resale rights as well.
For someone familiar with marketing online, this is HUGE. There is absolutely no storing, packaging, or shipping of informational products to customers, nothing to get lost in the mail or delayed by weather conditions AND you get to keep all of the profits. Not bad at all.
To make things even easier, they provide you with your very own retail website. You don’t have to worry about web-hosting, shopping carts, hacker-proof scans or any of the other technical stuff that most people have to deal with when starting a business online. It is very easy.
Now I know that you are waiting for the dirt, wanting to know what exactly is wrong with this picture and I am going to get to that shortly.
So what about training? I mean surely this is like so many of those other companies out there that take your money and then leave you “high and dry”. Well actually NO, remember that Back-Office I spoke to you about, well in addition to all of the great stuff you can sell, there is one of the most comprehensive libraries of current internet marketing training available. There is every subject from setting up your own Blog, to Keyword Research, to Social Media.
In addition to this you also get to participate on regular webinars with some the internet’s most successful leaders and trainers. But you are not left on your own to learn either, you have the guidance of your own personal mentor and trainer who will ensure that you are doing only the right things at the right time in order to quickly come up to speed and make money.
So now I can get to tell you what you really want to hear and that is why you might want to avoid this opportunity like a “swarm of bees”. If you are even the slightest bit squeamish about earning $2000 commissions every time you make a Platinum sale and having that money accumulate in your bank account regularly, then this opportunity is definitely NOT FOR YOU. If you have any reservations at all about going on holidays more often, spending more quality time with family and friends and not having to juggle a mountain of debt, then please, don’t even consider this.
YourNetBiz is likely to pull you way out of your comfort zone, make you feel very uncomfortable and push you to new personal heights of achievement. You may even start gaining real respect from your family, friends and work colleges and the unwanted attention of the Tax Department too should you start making too much money. (By the way there is probably some informational product in the Back-Office that will help you with hiring the right Accountant to deal with that)
So, as you can see not every cloud has a silver lining and you should really take the time to learn thoroughly about any opportunity before you give up your hard-earned cash.
