“Everybody’s Tweeting At Me, I Don’t Hear a Word They’re Sayin”

by admin on June 10, 2010

You know if Harry Nilsson was recording today, he would probably be singing about Twitter.

I’m just waiting for some balladeer to break into song about “Loosing their Heart” (or identity) on Facebook.

I mean, at least as far as the Internet Marketing Crowd is concerned, it is difficult to even find a paragraph or two on any of the Social Networking sites that is not some blatant attempt by someone to add you to their downline.

Yes, I am afraid I am indeed not without sin here and admit freely that my intentions on many of these sites have not always been in the interests of being sociable.

But really, it is no wonder that internet companies such as TubeMogul,  BlogCatalog and a host of others now classify legitimate network marketing business activity as Spam.

I tend to agree, but by the same token for a few, Social Media has been the key to unlocking a veritable treasure trove of infinite riches.

Never in the history of the world has there been such a great opportunity for regular folks to have their voices heard and to touch so many other lives in the process.

So the real challenge for the Internet Marketer of today who utilizes Social Media is to straddle the fine line between providing something that is interesting and valuable to their audience and balancing that with the desire to make money in the process.

Those that have managed to find that line are the ones whose voices are no longer lost in the crowd, but in fact rise to the surface and sound out above the rest. They are beacons in a sea of meaningless Tweets.

So I say, find your voice and say something meaningful for a change “Adam Boyce – The Levitating GURU of Online Enlightenment”.
